Sometimes I get inquires for cakes that I totally agree to do and then have no idea if I can execute them! It was no exception with this Sea Turtle Cake I made for my friend Denise for her uncle’s birthday. I do love a good challenge and thought, “3D sea turtle? Piece of cake!” (no pun intended).
I can’t believe it’s already almost mid-May and my birthday is this week! So exciting! I am taking the day off of work since my boo Jeff has a whole day planned. It’s a surprise and of course I keep nagging him until he gives me a hint. I hate surprises!
He ended up telling me that we are going to our favorite Sushi spot in the Upper West Side and we’re going to see the Avengers in IMAX 3D! Has anyone seen it yet? My brother saw it and said it was amazing! Anyway, Jeff won’t tell me where we are going for dinner but I can wait to find out. Maybe lol.
It’s been a few months now and I’m so excited to be back! 2012 was such a great year for me professionally and creatively and I am so looking forward to this new year!
